I just want to make this clear, I am in no way bragging or flaunting what I have or what I have received. I am simply doing this to show you my excitement on what I was generously gifted by friends and family. Christmas is the time for giving and I can say that I was pretty lucky with the (blessings) I have received! Not that this is just an excess to my collection but more of replacements(*wink), since I threw out a few of my used up brow products in my previous post(link here!) and threw out some of my sticky products to make room for these babies. 

Because some of these are from a Secret Santa exchange, I actually got something that I was eyeing on the Sephora website!

5 Drugstore Products I am Currently Loving

It is no secret that drugstore products are a hit in the quality department of makeup. They have endless brands that range from extremely cheap to medium range. I can give you an endless list of what products I have loved(and still love) in the past. But that can be saved for another post!

The L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara, which I just broke in the other month, took me by surprise! It exceeded my expectations! I am not quite sure if this is waterproof or what but damn, this is a great mascara! 

The Maybelline Fashion Brown in Medium Brown is something I have raved about recently(link HERE!). A summary of that would be that it is pretty great for the price you buy it for! I recommend that you all run over to the drugstore before everyone finds out how great this is! The Maybelline Color Drama Velvet Lip Pencil in Nude Perfection is everyone’s favorite nude lip(review SOON!). I don’t want to give away too much info but this is a great buy!

This goody that is the Rimmel London Sculpting Palette is something I have been eyeing for literally months! I was pleasantly surprised with how blendable the powders were. The bronzer was the perfect match for my skin and I do love me some warm toned bronzer!

As for the Rimmel London Mineral Powder, I was gutted as I was unpacking my makeup bag to see this smashed in the packaging(*cries*) but I still think this is a great powder nonetheless! A light translucent powder will always be a goody in my book!

Maybelline Fashion Brow | The Review

Let’s just start with the fact that I bought this for about 250 pesos(less than $6), which I found was a huge bargain because you got two types of product applications.

Eyebrows are known to be another crowning glory for women, and even some men, aside from their hair. So people sometimes can be a bit meticulous when it comes to how they look, like with the cleanliness and all. To each his/her own! But I can honestly say for me, that eyebrow product is definitely something I apply daily no doubt.

Maybelline is known to be an international brand. They have counters in pretty much every major city in the world. They are known to produce products on the lower end of the market and yet give generally good results.

The Maybelline Fashion Brow in Medium Brown has two types of application. Yes, I said TWO! One end has a pencil like end to make a more precise brow while on the other end it is a powder with a sponge applicator.

I prefer using the pencil-like end first to outline my brows especially on the areas where my brow hairs are more sparse. In my case, these are areas like the tip of my brow and the very start of my brow. 

Then I use the powder to just lock in the product. But I do sometimes just use the powder alone but that’s if my brows have just been cleaned(I have them threaded often) which is why I wouldn’t need that much penciling in.

In terms of longevity, this brow product is a 7.5/10 on an average application. But if you really double up on the pencil and powder coverage, this can last you all night! Just don’t rub on any random faces. Haha!

Final thoughts? I think this is definitely on the top of the list with my ABH Brow Wiz. The quality goes way over the actual price of the product. In other words, head to the drugstore, and grab a good amount of these!
